Sharing a meal with neighbors.

Several weeks ago a beautiful sunny days we enjoyed a cook out with a couple from Canton, MS., Bobby and Ann. Their motor home has a full kitchen that comes out under the awning area of the rig. If you look close you can see some of it. Bobby made "Drunk Chicken". There's a new method for grilling chicken. You open a can of beer and place it in the cavity of a whole chicken and cook it real slow over coals. For those of you who don't drink or like beer, you can't taste it and it all cooks away. Bobby just likes calling it "Drunk Chicken".

During one of our walks along the beach we came upon this sand sculpture. It doesn't compare with the ones from the Edgewater Mall. :-) But I thought it warranted a blog.

I'm standing in front of the "Worlds Largest Rocker". David and I went out to eat with two other couples, to "Catfish Charlie's". Which by the way has delicious fish and chicken. There is a wood working business next to the restaurant and this is in the yard out front.

Catch ya next time around!!!

Are you sure that sand sculpture wasn't really someone buried in the sand?
Hey...here's a bread recipe to go with the drunk chicken.
Three cups of self rising flour, 8 Tablespoons Sugar, and one 12 oz. can of beer (Not a cold one...room temperature) Mix it all together, put in a greased loaf pan and bake at 400. It's a good way to get rid of all that leftover beer that was in your cooler. (LOL) If you're watching calories, use Lite Beer!
The radio says we'll see temperatures in the 60's today! But, snow for the weekend... Will it ever end? is what many are saying! One more snow would be fine with me. These late spring snows are usually the most fun, and don't last long.
Better get myself off to school!

Love the new pictures. I still think there were horses on that beach. Just wanted to say again what a wonderful time we had. So good to see you all again. Trying to get your brother to come down with us next year. Keeping checking on prices of places for us. Can't hardly wait till next Feb.

Ok, I come here to see what you all are up to, only to find you and Susie sharing beer recipies.

See how you are.

Hope you are still having fun. We have snow off and on again. I am getting tired of the stuff.

I guess I have just gotten lazy. The weather has just been beautiful the last three weeks. I'm outside a lot and just not taking the time to sit down and blog. I'm sorry. :-(
I just downloaded a lot of photos from our trip to Houston Space Center and Galveston Island so I have a new subject to share.
Keep checking back. :-)
